The processing of your personal data is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), which entered into force on 1 September 2023. Where you reside in the European Economic Area, the GDPR may also apply.

Data you provide to us via our contact or study request form:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Postcode and/or address of the property
• Type of project planned
• Message content

Browsing and technical data collected automatically when you visit the site:

• IP address (anonymised for audience measurement)
• Browser and device type, operating system
• Pages viewed, timestamp, originating site or ad
• Cookie and advertising campaign identifiers (e.g. gclid Google, fbclid / fbp / fbc Meta, utm parameters) that let us know which ad or channel brought you to us

No sensitive data (health, political opinion, etc.) is requested or processed.

Your data is used to:

• Respond to your study or quote request
• Contact you and track your project in our customer management tool (CRM)
• Establish and manage a contractual relationship if one arises
• Send you, following your request, useful information related to your project (you can object at any time — unsubscribe link in every email)
• Measure website audience and the performance of our advertising campaigns (which ads generate contacts), subject to your consent

We do not sell or rent your data, and we make no automated decision producing legal effects concerning you.

Requests that do not result in a contract are kept for 12 monthsand then deleted. Files that have led to an installation are retained for the contractual period and applicable legal deadlines (warranties, accounting — up to 10 years). Audience-measurement and advertising data is retained according to each tool's own periods (generally up to 14 months for Google Analytics).

Your data remains within I.ON ENERGY SERVICES Sàrl and its strictly necessary technical processors:

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting (servers in Ireland, EU)
• Supabase — database of our internal CRM where your requests are stored and tracked (servers in London, United Kingdom). Access is restricted to authorised I.ON team members
• Resend, Inc. — delivery of contact and follow-up emails
• Google (Ireland / LLC) — audience and advertising-conversion measurement (see section 7)
• Meta Platforms (Ireland / Inc.) — advertising-conversion measurement, identification data hashed (see section 7)

Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland (notably in the United States). Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, security measures). No data is sold, rented or shared for purposes other than those described here.

Subject to your consent (cookie banner), we use measurement and advertising tools that may set cookies and transmit certain data to their publishers:

• Google Analytics 4 — anonymised audience measurement (truncated IP)
• Google Ads — conversion measurement for our ads (knowing that a request comes from a Google ad)
• Meta Pixel & Conversions API (CAPI) — conversion measurement for our Facebook / Instagram ads. Part of the measurement is performed server-side: when it occurs, identification data (email, phone) is hashed (SHA-256) before any transmission to Meta, which never receives this information in clear text
• Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly traffic statistics

You can refuse or withdraw your consent at any time via the dedicated banner.

Our website uses a minimal number of cookies. You can adjust your preferences at any time via the dedicated banner (categories: strictly necessary, preferences, audience measurement, marketing).

In accordance with the nFADP, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to processing
• Data portability

To exercise these rights, write to info@ion-e.ch. We respond within a maximum of 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Form data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in certified infrastructure (Vercel SOC 2 Type 2). Access to leads is restricted to authorised team members.

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. The date at the top of the page indicates the last revision.
